After getting the prep out of the way, using the fryer was pretty easy. Ryan made some fabulous clam chowder (recipe courtesy Ina Garten) to go along with a few pounds (yep, there are only two of us) of calamari.
We've committed to eating well during the week but allow ourselves to indulge a bit over the weekend. And it just so happened that Fryday fell on a Saturday! Yum!
